Comcast NBCUniversal has announced their latest public hackathon, which will be held in NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises new global headquarters, Telemundo Center in Miami, Florida on November 3-4, 2018. Hackathon participants will be challenged to leverage technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Mobile Augmented Reality (AR) to develop new ways to tell stories and foster deeper fan and community engagement with participating NBCUniversal brands.

WIREWAX will be joining the event for the second time after a great event at the LA-based hackathon earlier in the year.

Over a 24-hour period, hackathon participants will work on innovative cross-platform solutions while vying for a $10,000 grand prize, plus the opportunity to pitch their idea to NBCUniversal Executives. Participants will have access to NBCUniversal content as well as platforms, APIs, SDKs and technical support from Technology Providers throughout the two-day event.

Hackathon Technology Providers include: Amazon Web Services, Inc., Google Cloud, WIREWAX Interactive Video Technology and more.

Judges – including tech influencers, as well as NBCUniversal executives – will select 1st and 2nd runners up, as well as an overall Grand Prize winner.
